Irish Fest Film Fest are delighted to screen this year's Oscar winning short film!

In rural Northern Ireland, a pair of estranged brothers, Turlough and Lorcan, reunite following their mother's untimely death. A dedicated farmer, Lorcan's dream of continuing to work the land he grew up on is thwarted when Turlough decides he's sending him to live with their aunt on the other side of Ireland.

Yu Ming is Ainm Dom is a multi award winning Irish language short film directed by Daniel O'Hara and starring Frank Kelly, Paddy C. Courtney and Daniel Wu.

Irish short films have been incredibly successful on the world stage, from IAFTAs to BAFTAs to OSCARS, and all in between. 

This selection of Irish shorts films programmed by Irish Producer Simon Gibney and presented by IrishFest Atlanta showcase a diverse array of new and established talent in animation and live action, comedy and drama genres. All films appropriate for all ages!
